Which rod should you buy?
- Early game: the Lucky Rod gives more Luck (130%) than the pricier Midnight Rod (100%). Buy the Midnight Rod only if you need its extra Speed or its higher weight limit.
- Same Luck, different strengths: the Astral Rod and the Hazmat Rod both give 380% Luck. Astral is cheaper and charges faster; Hazmat holds heavier fish (300K kg against 150K kg).
- Late game: the Bamboo Rod (760% Luck) is the strongest rod sold for Coins in our list. After that, the quest rods take over.
Quest rods
The Ghostfinn, Element and Diamond rods cannot be bought. They form a chain: the Deep Sea quest gives the Ghostfinn Rod, owning it is a step of the Element quest, and owning the Element Rod is a step of the Diamond quest. The Diamond Rod has the most Luck in our list (1,300%).
Game pass rods
The Angelic, Gold and Hyper rods come with game passes paid in Robux. Their Luck is below the best Coin rods, so they help most early on. Only buy Robux and passes inside Roblox itself, never from other sites or sellers.
