Grow a Garden 2 Wiki

Updated How we verify data

This is an unofficial, fan-made helper for Grow a Garden 2, the Roblox sequel from the group “Strawberreh Squad“. You still buy seeds, grow crops and sell the harvest, but fruit now decays over time, each crop can carry only one mutation, and at night other players can steal from your garden. Our list has 99 crops and 13 mutations.

What is different from Grow a Garden

  • Decay. Harvested fruit stays fresh for a while, then loses value. Watering cans and rain stop it, and mutated fruit does not decay.
  • One mutation per crop. Mutations no longer stack, so the strongest single mutation decides the value.
  • Stealing at night. When night comes you can raid gardens whose owners have left, or stay home to lock your own garden.
  • Guilds. Players team up in guilds to compete for weekly rewards.
  • Bigger size effect. Size matters more: for most crops, value grows with (weight ÷ base weight) to the power 2.5.

Key terms

Decay
Fruit stays fresh for a set time after harvest, then slowly loses value as it decays. Watering or rain stops decay, and mutated fruit does not decay. Our calculator shows the fresh value. Not tested in game yet
Mutation multiplier
Each mutation has a fixed Sheckle multiplier. Not tested in game yet
Mutation stacking
A crop carries only one mutation at a time, so mutations never stack in Grow a Garden 2. Not tested in game yet
Value formula
A harvested fruit sells for its crop’s base value, scaled by its size and its mutation. The community wiki publishes the size rule; we have not tested it in the game ourselves. Not tested in game yet
Weight scaling
Value grows with (weight / base weight) to the power 2.5 for most crops (Mushroom and Bamboo use a smaller power). Fruits below the smallest size still sell as that size. Not tested in game yet

Seeds, gear and sprinklers

Seeds come from the seed shop, seed packs and events. Some crops sell for Leaves or Candy Corn instead of Sheckles; the crops list shows each crop’s sell currency. Gear such as sprinklers and watering cans helps your garden, and watering also stops fruit from decaying. We list crops and mutations for now and will add gear once we have checked the numbers.
