Steal an Egg Halloween Event Guide: Halloween Dimension Pets and Eggs

Short answer: the Halloween event adds the Halloween Dimension, an event zone with its own eggs. The best pet in it is the Divine Voidseer Pumpkin, the second-best earner in the whole game on the community wiki’s numbers. Event pets are limited, so grab the eggs you can reach while the zone is open and keep the rare pets you hatch.

Event times (UTC): Part 1, the Halloween Dimension, ran from 17 October 15:00 to 24 October 14:00. Part 2 is live now and runs from Saturday 24 October 15:00 to Sunday 25 October 16:34 on the Roblox event page. In Pakistan that is 8:00 PM on 24 October to 9:34 PM on 25 October; in India add 30 minutes. Updated 24 Oct 2026, 15:25 UTC.

What the Halloween event adds

  • The Halloween Dimension, an event zone full of themed eggs. Most eggs hatch one pet each, from the Epic Whiskers up to the Divine Voidseer Pumpkin.
  • Two mixed eggs: the Halloween Dimension Egg and the Halloween Egg. Each can hatch one of five pets.

Halloween Part 2: what we know so far

Updated 24 Oct 2026, 15:25 UTC. Part 2 started at 15:00 UTC today, and the game published a new version at 14:28 UTC to get ready for it. The Roblox event preview says a mysterious portal has appeared beyond the gates of the Abandoned Manor, and that Part 2 may finally reveal who opened the Halloween Dimension, and why.

The new pets, eggs and rewards of Part 2 are not on the community wiki or any reliable tracker yet. We will not guess names or numbers. As soon as they are listed, we add them to this guide, the pets list and the eggs list. Until then, start at the Abandoned Manor gates: that is where the preview points.

How Part 1 works: areas, Candy Corn and Souls

These mechanics come from community reports and update trackers (Source: community reports). We put them in our own words and have not checked them in the game.

  • Three areas. The Halloween Dimension is split into the Graveyard, the Haunted Swamp and the Abandoned Manor, each with its own set of event eggs.
  • Candy Corn is the event money. You earn it by carrying eggs back through the portal and by beating the monsters that roam the zone, and you spend it in the event egg shop. The Halloween Dimension Egg was shown at 2,250 Candy Corn on launch day.
  • Return Pumpkins is a timed task in the Haunted Swamp: catch a roaming Lil Pump, carry it to the glowing circle at the jack-o’-lantern altar, and repeat before the timer runs out for extra Candy Corn.
  • Echo’s quest. Find the four lost items (Old Collar, Chewed Bone, Stuffed Bunny and Old Photograph) and bring them to Echo, the ghost dog. Echo leads you to the Ghost Fisherman, who gives you the Haunted Rod. Fish in the rippling water, clear the underwater obstacle course and open the chest to get the Phantom Express Ticket.
  • The Phantom Express is a ghost train that leaves on the hour and on the half hour, and you need the ticket to board. At the end of the line you catch spirits with the Ghost Vacuum to collect Souls, a second event currency.
  • The Spectral mutation. At the Soul Extractor you trade Souls for a Spectral Mutation consumable, reported at 500 Souls (earlier 1,000). Used on an egg it sticks about one time in four, and community guides put it at about 2.75 times income. See all mutations.

The best Halloween pets

  • Voidseer Pumpkin (Divine): the prize of the event. It only hatches from the Voidseer Pumpkin Egg.
  • Abomination Kong and Soul Phantom (Eternal): the strongest Eternals of the zone. Soul Phantom can also come out of the Halloween Dimension Egg.
  • Werewolf (Secret): the best Secret of the event, well ahead of the other Halloween Secrets.
  • Grave Cerberus (Secret): weaker than Werewolf, but the wiki lists a very short hatch time for its Halloween Egg, so it comes quickly.

Compare their income on the pets list (sort by base income) or work out a pet’s income with a mutation and weight in the calculator.

A simple plan for the event

  1. Start with the eggs closest to the zone’s entrance and the quick Halloween Egg. Every Halloween pet you place earns Cash while you go for the next egg.
  2. Raise your Speed. Heavy eggs slow you down on the way back, and the rarest eggs sit deepest in the zone.
  3. Go for one target at a time. If you want a specific pet, steal its own egg instead of hoping for it from a mixed egg; the wiki does not publish the mixed eggs’ odds.
  4. Keep your rare event pets. Limited pets usually can’t be hatched again after an event ends.

When did the Halloween event start?

Part 1 of the event, the Halloween Dimension update, went live on Saturday 17 October 2026 at 15:00 UTC (8:30 PM in India, 8:00 PM in Pakistan). The event comes in two parts. The Roblox event page for Part 2 lists it from Saturday 24 October 2026, 15:00 UTC. Its preview says a sealed portal has appeared beyond the gates of the Abandoned Manor. We add the Part 2 pets and eggs here as soon as they are in the game.

When does the Halloween event end?

On the Roblox event pages, Part 1 ended on 24 October 2026 at 14:00 UTC and Part 2 ends on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 16:34 UTC. Those are the times of the event listings. The developer has not said when the Halloween Dimension zone and its eggs leave the game, so we will update this guide when the zone closes. New versions of the game show on our updates page.

Quick answers

Is the Voidseer Pumpkin the best pet in Steal an Egg? Almost. On the wiki’s numbers only the Spirit World Guardian from the Enchanted Forest earns more.

Is the Enchanted Forest part of the Halloween event? No. The Enchanted Forest, home of the Divine Spirit World Guardian, came in Update 7 on 3 Oct, before the event. It is a permanent zone, not an event zone.

Is Grave Cerberus the same as Cerberus? No. Cerberus is the Volcano’s Secret pet. Grave Cerberus is the Halloween version and earns far more.
