Grow a Garden 2 Mutations

Updated Wiki data as of Where our data comes from

Grow a Garden 2 has 13 mutations in our list. Unlike the first game, a crop can carry only one mutation, so mutations never stack. Gold and Rainbow can show up on any crop, and the rest come from weather events, special plants or pets.

A crop carries only one mutation at a time, so mutations never stack in Grow a Garden 2.

How mutations work

The community wiki says crops get one last chance to mutate when you harvest them, and only some mutations can also appear while a crop grows. Planting a Gold Seed or a Rainbow Seed gives that mutation for sure. Mutated fruit does not decay, which is another reason a mutation is worth more than its multiplier alone suggests.

A mutation multiplies the fruit’s fresh value. Gold is ×10 and Rainbow is ×30. Try it with your own fruit in the calculator.
