Is a heavier Pumpkin worth more?
Each Pumpkin fruit grows to its own weight around the base weight of 8 kg. Value climbs faster than weight: a fruit twice as heavy is worth about 4 times as much.
| Weight | Sell value | Compared with base |
|---|---|---|
| 8 kg | 3.4K (3,400) | ×1 |
| 12 kg | 7.65K (7,650) | ×2.25 |
| 16 kg | 13.6K (13,600) | ×4 |
| 24 kg | 30.6K (30,600) | ×9 |
| 40 kg | 85K (85,000) | ×25 |
| 80 kg | 340K (340,000) | ×100 |
Our notes
Pumpkin is a Legendary crop and it is harvested once. Its base weight is heavy, and its base value is a bit higher than the Watermelon, the other big single-harvest Legendary.
Because a Pumpkin is used up on harvest, you get one roll per seed. That makes the variant on each Pumpkin important: a Gold or Rainbow Pumpkin is a big jump over a plain one, as the variant table above shows.
Big Pumpkins are where the weight formula really shows. The price grows with the square of how heavy it is compared with its base weight, so an oversized Pumpkin can be worth far more than the listed base.
