How to get it

T-Rex at a glance

  • The T-Rex is one of 41 Secret pets in our list and has the 33rd highest base income among them.
  • Across all 230 pets with a known income it ranks 96th.
  • At its base weight one T-Rex earns 1.5B (1,500,000,000) Cash per minute, or 90B (90,000,000,000) per hour.
  • It hatches from the T-Rex Egg, found in Prehistoric (needs 18M (18,000,000) Speed), and takes 2h 30m 00s to hatch in your pen.
  • The community wiki lists a reward of 420K (420,000) Speed and 2.5B (2,500,000,000) Cash for this egg.

How much does a T-Rex make?

A plain T-Rex earns its base income. A mutation multiplies it, so a Rainbow T-Rex at the same weight earns 87.5M (87,500,000) per second, the most of any mutation in our list.

Does a heavier T-Rex earn more?

Every T-Rex hatches with its own weight. The base weight is 7.5K (7,500) kg. A heavier one earns more, but the gain per kg shrinks as the weight grows: at ten times the base weight it earns about 4.1 times as much, not ten.

Notes from testing

The T-Rex is the Prehistoric biome's guardian and its Secret pet. It earns more than the Kraken, although the Prehistoric biome's other Secret, Tralaledon, earns a bit more.

Its egg takes about two and a half hours to hatch, and the Speed reward listed for it is far larger than any Abyss Ocean egg's.

Reaching the Prehistoric biome needs a huge amount of Speed, so a T-Rex is a late-game goal. The Mosasaurus from the same biome is an Eternal and earns several times more.
