Notes from testing
The Kraken is the Abyss Ocean's Secret pet. It earns about twice what Cerberus does, so it is a clear upgrade once you can reach the seventh biome.
Its egg takes more than two hours to hatch and has a big Speed reward, which helps toward the Prehistoric biome.
Its base weight is very heavy, so a big kg number is normal. The Abyss Ocean's Eternal, El Maja, earns far more, but its egg takes even longer.
