What Rainbow does to income
- Rainbow multiplies a pet's income by ×3.5. That makes it the strongest of the 8 mutations in our list.
- On any pet, Rainbow adds 250% to the income the same pet would earn without a mutation, before weight is counted.

Notes from testing
Rainbow is the strongest colour mutation in the game. A Rainbow pet earns three and a half times as much as a plain one.
It is a very rare roll when an egg hatches: the community wiki puts its roll weight at about one in a hundred hatches, a quarter of Golden's.
Rainbow is the top result for any pet, but rarity matters more than mutation. A plain pet from a much higher biome can still outearn a Rainbow pet from a low one, which the tables on this page show.
