Does a heavier Shark earn more?
Every Shark hatches with its own weight. The base weight is 450 kg. A heavier one earns more, but the gain per kg shrinks as the weight grows: at ten times the base weight it earns about 4.1 times as much, not ten.

Notes from testing
The Shark is the Abyss Ocean's Legendary and the pet our calculator opens with. The Abyss Ocean is the seventh biome and needs a lot of Speed, so a Shark is a sign of a strong mid-game run.
It earns about twice what a Polar Bear does. Its egg gives a much larger Speed reward than any Snow egg, which helps you push toward the Prehistoric biome.
The Abyss Ocean is also where Dr. Scramble's cave is hidden, home of the shop that sells the Scrambled mutation consumable. Try a Shark with Golden or Rainbow in the calculator to see how much a mutation adds at this level.
