Does a heavier Camel earn more?
Every Camel hatches with its own weight. The base weight is 700 kg. A heavier one earns more, but the gain per kg shrinks as the weight grows: at ten times the base weight it earns about 4.1 times as much, not ten.
| Weight | Cash per second | Compared with base |
|---|---|---|
| 700 kg | 75 | ×1 |
| 1.4K (1,400) kg | 115 | ×1.53 |
| 7K (7,000) kg | 310 | ×4.13 |
| 35K (35,000) kg | 837 | ×11.16 |
| 87.5K (87,500) kg | 1.47K (1,473) | ×19.64 |
| 350K (350,000) kg | 2.56K (2,564) | ×34.19 |
Notes from testing
The Camel is the Desert's Rare, and for many players it is the first pet from the third biome. The Desert asks for a big jump in Speed compared with the Lake, so a Camel is a sign that your run is going well.
Camels have one of the heaviest base weights of any early pet. Because the base is already so heavy, a Camel that looks huge on its card is usually close to average, and its weight bonus is small.
Income-wise the Camel only beats the Lake's Turtle by a little, so the real reason to collect Camel eggs is the Speed reward, which is far higher than anything in the Lake. Use Camels to push toward the Jungle and Snow, and replace them with Epics as soon as you can.
